Dog Heaven, what more can I say? I basically planned our Santa Cruz trip around
wanting to take Ani to the beach. There was a dog beach really close by that was awesome. All the dogs were off leashes and were running around in and out of the water having fun and making new friends. All the people were really friendly and were "dog" friendly obviously. It was so nice to let Ani run around freely without worrying that she was going to bother someone. One time Ani ran out into the water to about chest deep while trying to get a tennis ball and she totally got taken out by an incoming wave! Poor Ani! I couldn't even see her for a few seconds, so it was kind of scary! But then she resurfaced and all was well. She wouldn't go near the waves after that!
