Our trip to Oklahoma

Sammie and I just returned from a trip to Lawton, Oklahoma to check on our house. We spent almost two weeks there and enjoyed our alone time together in our own home! We spent a lot of time with my friend, Robanne, and her son Tucker. Robanne's husband is deployed as well, and her husband will return in January about the same time as Jim. The kids enjoyed playing near each other, not quite with each other yet, and Robanne and I enjoyed time watching the Bachelor and Grey's Anatomy and chatting about Army drama and our lives as single moms. One afternoon we went to a pumpkin patch out in the country and got some cute shots of the kiddos. Oh, big news! Sammie started walking while we were in Lawton! I think that seeing Tucker run all over the place encouraged Sammie to attempt to do the same. She's not running yet, but she sure is toddling around! Anyway, that made it a little easier at the pumpkin patch since she didn't have to crawl around.
