The Samster and I have been settling in to our Lawton, OK home the past few weeks. We had a streak of warm weather and took advantage of it by playing in the backyard. Sammie discovered Ani's water dish which is loads of fun. She loves to play with dog toys in the water as well as dump handfuls of gravel into it. Nice. Poor Ani. We've spent some time at the local mall because it has an indoor play area. Not all of the days have been warm here! In fact, Ani's water dish froze overnight last night. Poor Ani. We also went to visit my great Aunt who lives about 45 min away from Lawton. It was good to see her and I'm pretty sure she liked seeing us too! She is a seamstress and I took advantage of her and took a pair of jeans for her to hem for me while we were visiting. But then I bought her lunch, so hopefully it evened out! My good friend, Joanna, is driving up from Dallas to visit on Friday and I'm really looking forward to that. Yea! We've been friends since we were born! I've been trying to keep busy while we whittle away the days until Jim finally comes home! He should be coming home next week! We are driving to Ft.Riley to pick him up and I just realized that I will be packing for all three of us for a week at Riley. Jim needs some civies, and Sammie can't pack her own bag yet, sooo, that leaves the mama. I guess that's my job. Can't wait for Jim to come home! We love you Daddy!

Yay! You're getting so close!! John's back at KAF now so maybe he and Jim can see each other before he leaves. I know Jim can't wait to see his Babe and his "mini me". She looks so much like him! Have fun!!
Yea! So glad Jim will be home soon! Blessings on your family!
Hooray! A husband, a dad! So glad he's coming back. You did it, Jones. Good job.
