Let's start with Big Run! I ran my first 1/2 marathon last weekend in Modesto, CA with Jim and my cousin, Bryan! It was pretty hard and my knees hurt pretty bad those last few miles, but I did it! So exciting. I have some pictures up on facebook that my mom took, and if you are interested you can look there. Anyway, I'm pretty proud of myself.
Big Girls! No one has had a birthday or anything, but they are just getting bigger each day. We were watching videos of Sammie at around 18 or 20 months and she's wearing things that Reese has already outgrown at 14 months. Reese is definitely a bigger girl than Sammie. At least at this age. Right now Sammie is really into her scooter and riding her friend's bike with training wheels. She also loooves her stuffed animals, all twenty gazillion of them. Right now they are piled into a pack and play in the family room. She jumps in there and plays pretend with all the animals talking to each other and doing things together. It's cute.
The girls are starting to play together now that Reese is a little older. They laugh together and have fun. When they aren't stealing toys from each other anyway...
The other day we took a drive down the coast to Big Sur to check out some campgrounds. While we weren't too impressed with the campsites, the drive and view were amazing!

Great to get an update. How's the grad school life, pretty sweet, huh? Those are some amazing scenes. So different from this side of the country! Great to hear everyone's well and the girls are so cute!
