It's time already for some updates!

I have been inspired by my sister to finally update my blog. I can't believe I haven't written anything since October! Ok, so I'm still pregnant, I turned 30 in November (ack!), was in my sister's wedding, made it through Christmas....and now it's January!

My little sister got married on December 4th! Sammie, Reese and their two cousins Norah and Avery were all flowergirls together. It was so cute! Erin looked amazing and she is very happy being married to the love of her life, James. The only problem is that he's in the Navy. Hehe. And went to Annapolis. Hmm. But so far my Jim and her James seem to get along just fine, so that is good. I don't have any of the professional pics to share because I haven't downloaded them yet, but her are a few that my father in law took for us. Thanks Bob!

Alrighty, so here I am about 31 weeks pregnant. I'm almost 35 weeks now, but this is the most recent picture that I have. We still haven't solidified a name, but we are working on it. This pregnancy has been really easy. I was sick some at the beginning, but that was over by 12 weeks. Now I'm just feeling huge and it's hard to breathe. I can't believe we will soon have a third little girl in the house. A new baby that we don't know anything about yet. Soon we will wonder what life was like without her!
This is just a picture that I find hilarious. Reese has started taking an interest in dressing up. She loves to layer her nightgowns over her regular clothes. Add a tutu or sunglasses and ta-da! Instant awesomeness. I have to be careful when I do laundry because if she spots her Dora or Tinkerbell nightgown she must wear it immediately. This makes it hard to keep her nightgowns clean for more than one day.
I love baking and I love having the holidays as a reason to do so! Sammie loves to help me in the kitchen. I like to think that I'm teaching her important life lessons, but so far I think all I've taught her is that cookie dough is really tasty. Yum! This Christmas Reese got her first chance to help make some cookies. I waited until my mom was around so that I could have some backup. I mean really, how much can an almost 2 year old actually help? She too learned an important lesson about the yumminess of cookie dough.

Here are my sweet girls dressed up for the Christmas Eve service at church. This was the first year we actually made it to one of these services since they are usually scheduled right at nap time or dinner time or bed time. But attend we did! Reese was in child care, but Sammie got to stay in the service with us where she learned another life lesson. Contemporary church services are really loud! Her poor little ears. Our church worship is extremely loud. I won't be bringing baby #3 into the service any time soon.
At Christmas time this year we were able to spend lots of time with Jim's family. His brother Dustin, and his wife, Shelley, were in town and we had a second Christmas morning with all of the Starlings on December 26th. We were all spoiled by my mother-in-law, Sue, who cooked us wonderful meals and gave lots of presents! We also took some family portraits. I wish my hair looked better, but other than that, I think its a great picture of everyone!
On January 7th Reese turned 2!!! On her actual birthday we met some friends at the park and celebrated with donuts. I love easy birthday celebrations! Then, on Saturday we had cake and presents with all the grandparents around. I made a Tinkerbell cake, which turned out better than I expected! And Reese loved it, so it made all the hardwork worthwhile.
