Sammie Poses

Sammie seems to be practicing her poses for when she becomes famous. I guess I have too many People magazines floating around the house, they must be rubbing off on her!

First we have the "gangsta" pose. I think this will be her first rap album cover.


Next we've got the "celebrity caught in a moment of normalcy" type photo while Sammie struts her stuff in her new bikini from Grandma Sue. If only she had a cup of Starbucks in hand, it would be perfect!


In this one, Sammie breaks out the grin for a photo shoot with dad. He blew up an inflatable pool yesterday and they played outside for forever. It was really cute to watch from inside while I was stuck on the phone with someone who wouldn't stop talking. Don't worry, it's none of you guys!


And this is just a sweet Sammie up close shot. Maybe I should enter her in the Parent's magazine photo contest?


As you can see, Sammie has spent a lot of time in her bathing suit lately. Sometimes if we are playing in the backyard it becomes an impromptu birthday suit swim/sprinkler session, but hey, we're in our own yard! Sammie looooves swimming. Loves it. Today we went to a pool on post for the first time and she screamed her little head off when it was time to leave. It was embarrassing. We told her we'd go again the next day, so hopefully we won't have a repeat of today's experience. Her favorite thing was playing on the steps and holding onto the rail and going up and down, in and out. Boring for me, but it kept her entertained forever and I didn't have to hold her up the entire time. She also liked jumping off the ladder on the side of the pool, but you can only do that for so long before someone actually needs to use the ladder.
