In other random Samantha news, she is becoming a big chatterbox. It starts as soon as she wakes up in the morning when she starts naming everything that she sees...mommy, Ani, blanket, kitty, etc. This continues while we are at the breakfast table...she points out the star decoration on the wall, the lights, the fan, the flowers, the spoon, her ba-boo (pacifier,I have no idea), and of course Ani again who we can see out the window. When she falls down she sorta makes a sentence that sounds like "I fell down". She has become very demanding and tells me that she wants to go outside and "walk". When she doesn't get her own way she collapses into a pathetic, sobbing mess on the floor until she realizes that I'm ignoring her. Oh, and the latest most exciting thing in Sammie's world is seeing planes from the nearby Air Force Base flying over the park at a really low altitude. Plaaaaanes!!! She shrieks each and every time one flies over. And if I'm not right next to her when one comes by she runs like the wind over to me so that I can swoop her up and we can point and scream about the planes together. It's really fun. Another thing that Sammie has started doing is saying "amen" at the end of our evening prayers, and she loves holding hands at the dinner table when we say prayers before eating. It's really cute.

Germany friends and Sammie updates
The Carpenter family from Schweinfurt recently moved to Ft.Sill and we have wasted no time hanging out with them! Little Morgan used to be Zeke's playmate in SW and now she is Sammie's! Hopefully one day Zeke and Sammie will be friends, but for now, we will enjoy our Zeke connection through Morgan until her family moves again in August. Stefanie and I got together with our girls on Friday and as you can see they enjoyed playing with Morgan's little kitchen. They also have a big golden retriever dog named Hunter that liked to hang out with the girls. Sam even sat on his back like he was a horse (she does that to Ani all the time at our house) and Stefanie got a big kick out of it. Hunter was a good sport and didn't care at all that he had a toddler on his back.

How fun to see Morgan and Sammie playing together! It's probably a good thing Zeke isn't there too or the catfights over him might get a little out of hand. :) I miss you guys, and I really can't wait until it's Zeke's turn to play with Sammie and feed prarie dogs (or not feed them...whichever).
